Answer to entire UofL problem. Two of the greatest academic universities in America are named: University of California (at Berkley) and University of California (at Los Angeles [UCLA]). Stop all this foolishness and change their names — University of Kentucky (at Lexington) and University of Kentucky (at Louisville [UKL].

Too simple a solution for folks in a state like this — so it’ll never happen and NEITHER UNIVERSITY IN KENTUCKY WILL EVER RANK IN THE TOP 100, ACADEMICALLY – EVER because there’s not enough money in this state to fund two competing universities demanding primacy.
