Brooks Wicker’s Desperate Campaign Got Worse

October 17th, 2012 by jake · 1 Comment

The best thing about this week is watching Brooks Wicker – who proved himself to be a laughable candidate two years ago – make a fool of himself.

Like this “ad” he can’t afford to run on television:

Had he not taken John Yarmuth’s remarks out of context, he would have informed supporters that most of Humana’s business is Medicare and would get even more business if everyone were insured under a system like that. He also neglected to mention that Humana is in the best position of any other insurer to administer a system like that.

From Wicker’s email blast:

How can a Representative from Louisville propose to do away with one of our city’s biggest employers?

Because he didn’t. It’s a bizarre, disconnected and dishonest stretch. A flat-out lie on the part of Brooks Wicker. How anyone trusts the man with their money, we’ll never know.

It’s just a shame that he’ll lose by a million points because we’d love nothing more than to follow every stupid thing the man says on television.
