What’s The Bluegrass Fund Up To These Days?

October 8th, 2012 by jake · 3 Comments

First, familiarize yourself with the Bluegrass Fund. It’s run by Joe Burgan, former Anne Northup campaign staffer, former Hal Heiner staffer and guy who ran one of the anti-busing efforts. (He also worked for 8664, proving Republicans have common sense.)

Bluegrass Fund is doing some telephone polling, it seems.

Last week, several readers received telephone calls asking simple questions about the student assignment plan, diversity and the candidates they would choose. They used the Very Favorable/Somewhat Favorable/Somewhat Negative/Very Negative ranking on all questions.

The final question was how respondents felt about the Jefferson County Teachers Association and the final categories were flip-flopped. Somewhat Negative and Very Negative were switched, so Somewhat Negative came last.

A really great way to sneakily alter results and confuse respondents. Because it’s not like there aren’t enough reasons to hate JCTA on occasion than having to fabricate poll results.

I got this as well. I’m pretty sure I answered correctly as I listened to all the options. Still, there was no reason to make some of the questions Either/Or type of questions. Or they would lump administrators with the teachers in some questions and others.

And you don’t think both parties don’t pull this same type of crap? Come on Jake. How does this really matter? There are lies, damn lies, and then statistics. We all know that.

When have I not handed Democrats their asses for this sort of behavior?

We usually give them more heat than Republicans.
