Last night Greg Fischer held another one of his cyberse… internet chats.
Here’s Greg throwing up what appears to be an almost shocker (?):
Awkward. More awkward than listening to him try to talk to, well, anybody.
But there was a question that conveniently remained unaddressed last night about LMEMS shenanigans/Bloomberg/getting spendy:
Here’s the text of it:
Who is Bob Ruhala? Why have we hired someone from Georgia to assist in managing the Bloomberg Grant? Why can’t I find ANY salary information on this individual? Nor can I find a contract for his services, although Mr. Ruhala is on the approved vendor list. I understand that Mr. Ruhala was here before doing some kind of consulting on the computer system in LMEMS and that he was paid in excess of $200K. He was brought back by request to work on the Bloomberg Grant? But, he’s attending staff meetings, sending out memorandums, conducting meetings. Generally, even high priced consultants, consult, not perform operations duties. Your administration could not find someone already in Metro Louisville government, or in the Metro area who can do this work? Kristin Miller is not capable of managing this grant? Where is the transparency? How much of the Bloomberg Grant is going to pay Mr. Ruhala’s salary and that of any others hired in to run the grant, as opposed to educating people on when it is proper to call EMS?
We don’t expect an answer any time soon.

He not only avoided that question. there was a question asked about metal detectors in the parks and it was ignored and deleted.

Just FYI – What you take to mean another symbol is simply the “L” used by UofL fans to symbolize “Louisville”. Pretty common around here.

“L” Yes Fishy! You are a loser! EMS, LMAS, MSD/Water Co. fiasco, and much much more. These so-called chats are a scam! you cowardly ignore legit questions from the public, you attack those who question you and you have surrounded yourself with below average advisors that bitch and moan and complain more than actually doing the job. Many of the City’s directors need to be fired for being around too long, not experienced enough or unable to drive sober. You have pulled the wool over the community’s eyes for too long. Getting re-elected won’t be so easy. Get your head out of your ass! Can’t wait to watch you freak out after more LMAS issues come to light, when the MSD/Water merger goes south, places like the Zoo are losing money due to lack of leadership and Ms. Sadiqa loses her shiz because she is in over her head. I really can’t wait until your “trusted” circle start spilling the beans because they can no longer take how stupid and arrogant you really are. The voters will not show compassion

I agree those chats are a scam as well as a total waste of time. Fischy just doesn’t get it. re-election will be tough for sure. Why have an internet chat if you are going to delete and ignore questions.
