    UofL Prof: “So, it’s ‘critical thinking’ and planning and a great athletic program that keeps us afloat?”

    UofL Honcho: “Damn straight. We’re doing wonderfully well compared to others, primarily because of our athletics.”

    UofL Prof: “First, you wouldn’t know ‘critical thinking’ if it hit you in the face. Second, you’re darn lucky you’ve go one of the richest private foundations of any public university.”

    UofL Honcho: “OK, we left that out–it is a mysterious operation to get hold of. And the public hardly knows about it.”
