Remember Bluegrass Boardwalk? The Koch Family secured a fifty year lease from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. But they still haven’t disclosed details of their secretive financing, don’t have ride vendors and the state has to sign the lease and give them “financial incentives.” [WHAS11]
If you’re a blogger and you receive equipment, food, products and mention them in your writing? The FTC requires you to disclose the specifics. If you wear a t-shirt you receive from a restaurant in a photo? You’ve gotta make a disclosure. Yes, this means if you receive a free taste of coffee? It must be disclosed. Stop playing pat-a-cake and giving others a bad name when you violate regulations. [Read This Again]
Mittens Romney is coming to John Schnatter’s house and everybody is freaking out. Never mind that Schnatter, you know, almost always backs the loser. Including Bruce Lunsford and other losing Democrats. [FOX41]
Greg Fischer on Charlie Rose? HAHAHA. Lawwwd, that is truly pee-worthy if we’ve ever seen pee-worthy. [Charlie Rose]
Predictions on how long it takes for A Kentucky Newspaper to not change at all? One day? One week? A month? How long will it take the feigned hype to die down before nothing changes? [C-J/AKN]
The only “controversy” surrounding the Brownsboro Road sidewalk project is who opposes it. They’re all wealthy, East End white guys people who can’t come up with a good excuse. Draw from that what you will. It doesn’t help that they’re represented by Steve Henry confidant Bob Gunnell/guy who owes the IRS $400K+/guy who violated his operations agreement with Mark and Tim Mulloy after causing his former firm problems. Doesn’t help that a female WHAS11 reporter continues to push this story for him for whatever reason. A female reporter who, it must be noted, is a social climber who has tried to hump every available male in a perceived position of power – including Jake (that’s how disconnected from reality the girl is). Folks are still freaking out about the landmarks shenanigans at Metro Council. [WFPL]
That strange taste in your mouth? The new-ish folks in charge at WAVE3 are reverting to the station’s borderline mouth-breathing ways of their early post-9/11 years. [WAVE3]
When are you mouth-breathers going to realize that your hate and ignorance helps drive young gay people to take their lives? Is it impossible for you to comprehend that hate, discrimination, defamation and attacks are the antithesis of what you claim to espouse? Of course you don’t. You won’t realize it until hordes of mouth-breathers start killing themselves for realizing they’re living in an ignorant fantasy world. [HuffPo]
Could someone out there please explain Greg Fischer’s weird obsession with world records? [WLKY]
You’ll pay $5 more on Oaks and $10 on Derby to get into Churchill Downs if you merely walk up to the gate. It’s also kind of surprising that limited reserve seating is still available this late in the year. [Business First]
The good ole boy network at Kentucky Educational Television was handed some bad news last week. Justice may actually get served at some point. [Page One]

Okay, I procrastinated. But after seeing the one-dimensional interviews in the WHAS11 report on the Brownsboro Rd. Diet last night, I felt motivated to weigh in with an email “comment” today, advocating for safety & convenience for the residents who actually live in the area of the planned project. The email address – & mailing address – are given in accompanying articles on your linked WHAS page.
