Mouth-Breathing Putrid, Thick Air In Hardin County

Ever wonder why more people move to Oldham County than they do Hardin County?

The Hardin County Republican Party, where State. Rep. Tim Moore presides, has taken mouth-breathing to a new level.

On Saturday, the local Party there had several suggestions for platform changes:

  • Remove all funding from the Department of Education
  • Remove all funding for the Environmental Protection Agency
  • Oppose abortion even in cases of incest and rape
  • Allow citizens to own any and all types of firearms, including howitzers and fifty caliber machine guns
  • Make English the official language of the United States of America

And they elected a new slate of officers who have never attended meetings or participated in the political process.

So not even common sense Republicans are involved at this point.

  1. I LOVE how you wrote “common sense Republicans” like they exist in the first place. Although I’m a bit surprised … where’s the homophobia they usually include in their rhetoric. Surely they don’t feel gays are qualified to own guns (or live in Hardin County in the first place).

  2. Not sure what fantasy world you’re living in. There are plenty of Republicans with common sense who don’t hate the gays. Especially in Kentucky.

Unfortunately, in this state, it’s the Democrats who have a problem with the gays.

If you can’t comprehend that, you most certainly are not paying attention.

  3. While the Tea Party has effectively taken control of the Republican Party in Boone and Davies counties , in Hardin County you now have a slate of officers that did not attend any of the campaign stops nor functions for state candidates last year in their own backyard.

Yet they are content however in welcoming “new members”, tea partiers, who were instrumental in promoting the forementioned resolutions for the Republican platform.
