Just think how much greater the appreciation & adulation they would have gotten IF they had shown themselves as compassionate & forward thinking BEFORE getting all the negative publicity…

Good job people. I agree G-town. What’s up with Ryan’s pic in these posts?

Thanks Jake!! Between all of your readers and the EMS bloggers sending emails and twitter blasts, they were inundated! Please keep up your support of Joe, this is just the beginning. LMEMS is still giving him no answer about his leave of absence and he still needs to pay the bills. I promised the EMS folks I would send pictures of Joe doing a happy dance, I can’t wait for that day!

It is wonderful news that Joe Riffe received approval
for his artificial leg. He is a good man and a credit to LMEMS. The Ville certaintly deserves some credit.

Yes, it is great news! Why time after time does Mr. Stinky Fisch make the wrong decision and then has to backtrack to correct such a egregious mistake? Why can’t he do the right thing the first time? Does anybody on his staff have a fucking brain?

The initial decision was probably made by some flunky in HR tasked with keeping costs down. Thanks to Jake and others for pushing it high enough that GF could not ignore it.
