We hear through the po-leece rumor mill that there have been a number of automobile break-ins targeting law enforcement vehicles.
The folks we’ve spoken to suggest it could be gang-related.
The items gettings stolen? Guns.
Like an assault rifle from the Sheriff’s Department.
Remember when Greg Fischer said there was no gang problem in Louisville?
This should be a fun year in Louisville.
Yes, this is salacious and rumorific. But it’s not like Mr. Transparency is bothering to be transparent about anything other than the way he trashes critics. And the way he’s handling the selection of a new LMPD chief is getting people fired up. Hence the flood in the rumor mill at the moment.

Open records request emails about this issue. They are there and sent to all sworn LMPD.
We were told that arrest have been made

There are no gangs in Louisville says Greg. He’s got his own security detail so he doesn’t have worry about it like people in other areas of the city do. There are quite a few areas that are known crime hotspots and its just not the random robbery or burglary, its something much more serious. However, if you’re Greg Fischer, its more convenient to ignore the real issues so you can find your handpicked police chief that will do exactly what you say. No real input from the community either. Some real nonsense being spouted by Fischer when he mentioned transparency.

And who determined which positions in our local govt. were only to be filled with people from a “minority” race? Was the edict in a transparent memo that I somehow missed?
