Not long ago, I shared statistics from Louisville Metro Animal Services that Greg Fischer’s administration refused to provide.
During Greg Fischer’s little internet chat, some folks asked him about killings at LMAS and an interesting exchange went down:

Funny that Scally was killing massive numbers of cats while parading around town saying no more animals were going to die. Just like we told you.
Here’s more:

That was the interesting part. Greg Fischer having the gall to suggest that specific groups and grassroots efforts haven’t always been trying to assist LMAS. Having the gall to suggest fosters aren’t turned away left and right for daring to ask questions. The nerve to act like critics aren’t demonized and that funds aren’t readily turned away. The audacity to play the innocent nice guy struggling to get free press– which that constantly ignore and turn down.
Wow.

How expensive could a PSA be? Doesn’t the Mayor’s Office have a video production division that produces all the crap that shows up on Metro TV? I mean, maybe Tom Owen could give up one of his taped historic Louisville tours.

I’m seriously going to go off here. I know of about 200 people on foster lists that they aren’t even tapping, how about start with them? I don’t want to hear any crap about not having the lists either. I sent it to Margaret Brosko and every Adoption Coordinator and the Rescue Coordinator before I left. Fischer is acting like they are doing everything they can do and nothing can be further from the truth. How many dogs and cats have been killed since I left that could have been put into foster then sent to rescue or put up for adoption? INEXCUSABLE INCOMPETENCE AND APATHY.
