Why didn’t he vote for putting Americans to work building the EAST END bridge? That would have really helped divert the problem we now face, and he is a big reason we never got that bridge.

After all he was involved with river fields as well, the same people that has had this thing tied up since 1969. The funding was there, and when he took office , the fundng just vanished! imagine that! These are facts that HAVE been proven

Yeah, John Yarmuth is so directly responsible for us not having bridges funding.

    HAHAHA.

Where were you mouth-breathers when Anne Northup was playing pat-a-cake? Oh, that’s right.

Pretty much anyone who has supported ORBP in its entirety, as both Yarmuth and Northrop have, bears some responsibility. Transportation funding that we already have has been diverted to the boondoggle with no tangible results while other needs languish. The insistence on ORBP as the only possible alternative has made us less competitive for federal dollars via TIGER grants and other programs as well.

We’ve known for a long time that both the Sherman Minton and Second Street bridges have scored more poorly in regular inspections than the Kennedy but political capital has been more heavily spent on making it and the downtown interstate expansion more prominent.

Though it’s not true in most other areas, the Yarmuth/Northrup difference on regional transportation is minimal. Neither can really claim superiority over the other in that particular area thus far.

Yarmuth still has the chance to change and lead on the issue.

Ann WAS the one that ACTUALLY got funding for the bridge! Check your facts Jake

It’s Anne Northup, folks. Not Ann. Not Northrop. Not Northrup. She was your congresswitch for a decade. Learn to spell her pickled ass name, jesus.

Here are some FACTS: She got partial funding while poo-pooing ALL OTHER transportation priorities. Then she let that funding slip away when she realized her ass was grass.

I know how to get River Fields and Meme Runyon to support the east end bridge…..make it a one lane bridge!
