Your (least) favorite folks deserve to win the Golden Poo Award. Take part in this year’s nomination process. [Page One]

Just in case you needed another reason to go to the Bluegrass Festival? Tony’s BBQ Barn will serve burgoo. [Anderson News]

Talk about inconvenience. The University of Louisville says it has a deal with Baptist Hospital to provide sterilizations. Democrats in Frankfort will think that’s a-okay. [C-J/AKN]

This city will be better off once the Judy Green nightmare at Metro Council comes to an end. [FOX41]

Judy Green says the Metro Council “vendetta” against her is affecting constituents. Common sense says she is affecting them and the only thing Metro Council is doing is hurting her pocket book. [WHAS11]

She says it’s “evil” for this city to hold its elected officials accountable for money they spend irresponsibly. To think she’s been given airtime on a religious radio station. [WLKY]

Fayette County has a new superintendent with a tech-savvy approach. Makes Sheldon Berman seem ancient and even more horrible. [H-L]

Yesterday was the 119th day Republican Party of Kentucky Chairman Steve Robertson has questioned Jack Conway: “This would be laughable if it weren’t so serious,” said Robertson. “When Jack Conway tells reporters he had no involvement in this case, they simply take him at his word instead of confronting him with the facts. Until he’s forced to address this issue, it will not go away.” [Press Release]

Seems like there’s always a new restaurant to look forward to in Louisville. It’s one of the perks of living in such a great little city. [Consuming Louisville]

The unemployment rate fell three tenths of a percent in Jefferson County. [Business First]

Some people still don’t realize that when we run something as “rumor” it’s usually already happened and been verified. It’s one of the only ways to spur the local mainstream outlets into action. [The 'Ville Voice]

Jake’s correct about his ‘rumor’ comment. The CJ’s problem with ‘true rumors’ is simply their consistent determination to ‘play favorites.’ Had that not been the case, Mayor Happy Pants would have been excoriated years ago, as would have Harvey Sloane and so many others. This blog doesn’t ‘play favorites’ — therefore, it’s much easier to ‘call ‘em as you see ‘em.

    Refreshing.

    John or Madonna?

John – Story is Fisher hired him for the newly created position (just for him) of Director of vacant and abandoned properties program. He will work at IPL just a few steps away from where he last worked.

Would that all convicted felons be allowed to work in meaningful jobs with substantial benefits. There would be less recidivism among the ex-con population.

Is this the same John Flood who was convicted under case 96CR2531 for 14 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, 14 Counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking and 1 Count of False Swearing?

If so, is the his holiness aware that he would be employing a convicted felon in an appointed position?

The unemployment rate in Jefferson County dropped? That’s great news, considering 180 people in J-Town were laid off last Friday when Video Monitoring Services suddenly closed.

Relax…John’s okay. He was the chairman of key elected officials’ campaigns – even the prosecutor. How can a guy like that be a bad guy?

(Have a heart and use simple bullets when answering the question. Using numbers could be embarrassing or something.)

    Funny how ……….

John Flood likes to “anonymously” turn in people for parking their cars in the yard, yet all the neighbors next to HIM and across the street and next door and all up and down Kurtz Ave.(where he and Madonna live) park THIER cars in the yard, some even blocking the sidewalk, yet Mr.John Flood doesn’t turn THEM in!!!!

Anyone else had any problems with “anonymous” complaints about cars parked in thier yards?????especially if they were made under the disguise of tall grass or debris????
