For the 44th day in a row Republican Party of Kentucky Chairman Steve Robertson questioned Jack Conway, who is currently TRYING to lose to Todd P’Pool: “I hope that every time Jack Conway appears in front of a microphone, the press asks him the exact questions we have been asking for well over a month now,” said Robertson. “Jack Conway does not get a free pass to use his position or status to benefit his political career to the detriment of his clients, the people of Kentucky.” [Press Release]
What? Jerry Abramson got to spend $180,000 from the taxpayers with basically zero oversight? Imagine that. We are so shocked. Even more shocked that the Democratic Party hacks are defending undocumented, wasted funds. [WFPL]

As the November election draws near, it’s almost like Abramson’s being stalked by karma, and it’s gonna get him. By the time everything is said and done, anyone who is associated with him, like his department heads and political appointees, will be tainted by his misconduct while King of Louisville.

We can only hope that Abramson fails but the only other problem with that is getting Williams and Farmer in office. It will make a great sequel for Green Acres.

As a progressive Louisvillian part of me is cheering for David Williams to become the next governor of KY. Sometimes before things get better a dysfunctional state needs to hit rock bottom.

Bill: If Goobernatorial Beshear wins, Jerry wins. Then we have to hope and pray every single day that Goobernatorial makes it through his entire term and doesn’t take a vacant Senatorial seat or something, cause IF THAT HAPPENS, Happy Pants will be the head Goobernatorial. Oh, my God — can you imagine that? Why we’d have a state-wide Brightsides and be planting tulips in every container known to man from Benton to Ashland. We’d rename it “Tuliptucky.”
