Hey, Ladies & Ladydudes, You Know What’s Crazy?

June 9th, 2011 by jake · 9 Comments

What’s crazy is Greg Fischer saying he hopes everything works out for Judy Green…

But that he isn’t following the ethics hearings.

THAT is crazy.

No one in their right mind wants to believe Greg isn’t paying attention to this Judy Green scandal. Especially since Chris Poynter receives every open records request regarding the matter and talks about it in the press non-stop. So why is he saying this? What good could possibly come from pretending he doesn’t know what’s up?

But if he’s truly not paying attention? What the hell does that mean for our fair city? Does it mean Greg is more disconnected than we imagined?

It’s official. Poynter has to be purposefully putting Greg up to saying these ridiculous things in public.

What a jackass of a mayor! As if he’s not following the proceedings at the same time last week or so he was talking about these discretionary funds. Again he’s talking out of his rear end. There is some sort of disconnect with Poynter and Fischer. One is the propagandist and the other is the puppet. Leave it to readers here to figure out which one fits the character. Since most are politically astute I suspect it won’t take a few seconds to figure it out.

Don’t be so hard on Chris. Remember the things that Greg used to say before Chris was coaching him up close? Ah, nostalgia.
My favorite was when he used to talk about developing along the Louisville Loop Trail with green jobs. I miss those times.

Or when he wanted to make Louisville…someday… as big as Nashville…also, a personal favorite.

Fischer seems to be launching or approving overdue investigations – such as MSD & LMAS – but doesn’t really COMMIT TO TAKING QUICK, APPROPRIATE & DECISIVE ACTION based on the outcome & recommendations of those investigations. It’s almost as though he were a reluctant participant. The resolutions to the uncovered unpleasantness seem to languish. (Hmm, sorta like Jack Conway’s “initiatives” as A.G. – all press but no push.)

Fischer being mayor is like seeing an east end house wife at the Bass Pro Shop. They know they have to go there but don’t what to do. He’s clearly uncomfortable and his brain isn’t keeping up with his mouth. He’s knows he going piss off somebody and it scares him.

Good observation, I like it. That is exactly what he looks like, like OMG, isn’t there someone else who can deal with this? Sorry, bud, this is the job you signed up for, and you are where the buck stops.

“his brain isn’t keeping up with his mouth”

His daddy and his wife, the Doctor, have brains, but not the Mayor…or his “staff”.

How many more months before we can vote this phony our of office?

It’s clear he hasn’t mastered the art of spin, double-talk or being “the buck stops here.” He is so fickle and can’t handle making a decision in a firm decisive way. Neither can his staff for that matter. The shit with MSD, MAS and other stuff has been going on forever. He could have put it end to it on day 1 and didn’t. He’s unsure and can’t make a firm bold out-of-the-box decision.

He looks uncomfortable in front of the camera, awkward at public events and can’t grasp how Metro functions, including budgets. It seems as his staff are serving as Mayor by committee. Glad to see Metro funds going towards 4th of July instead of local non-profits in desperate need or LMAS. So who will go first, Jackie or Judy?
