Do you know hungry kids who aren’t likely to get solid meals this summer? 12 community centers will provide breakfast, lunch and snacks to kids who get free or reduced lunches during the school year. [Click the Clicky]

For the 34th Day (jesus christ) Republican Party of Kentucky Chairman Steve Robertson questioned Jack Conway: “As Attorney General, Jack Conway represents the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I doubt his client would consent to his assistance to the subject of a drug investigation, regardless of the circumstances,” said Robertson. “When he stepped into this conflict of interest, Jack Conway exercised bad judgment. It has become the theme of his entire term in office.” Dear Jack: Please hurry up and deal with this because we’ve got lots of traveling to do and bourbon to drink, k? [Press Release]

In what can only be considered a sign of the changing tides of homophobia, a second Louisville church has decided to stop signing marriage licenses. [C-J/AKN]

A tennis comedy is filming in Louisville and we think you’re going to like it. Big name stars, too. [WLKY]

Construction Watch: edge townhouses are finally getting built at Liberty Green. [Broken Sidewalk]

Dear FOX41: It doesn’t count as an investigation if employees/former employees came you to and put information in your lap, does it? Acting like everything is “breaking” or the result of some non-existent investigation makes you just like WHAS. You’ve had nice stories this past year, though.  There’s no reason blow it out of proportion. Not while your crew is at the top of its game. [FOX41]

You ready for the Metro Council budget shenanigans to continue? Starts this afternoon. [Press Release]

No Kill Louisville was the only organization that submitted a bid to operate Metro Animal Services. Funny how KHS backed away after Fischer’s office told them they couldn’t handle any more scandal. Here’s hoping NKL will be able to handle the disaster its trying to take over. [Dan Klepal, FOX41, WAVE3]

Live way out in the middle of nowhere? The swimming pool at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park is now open noon to 6:00 P.M. every day of the week. [Press Release]

You’re a horrible, horrible person who does nothing but drink bourbon and yell at your employees/complain about the newspaper, right? Time to do something good for someone else. Volunteer for the Louisville Free Public Library’s English Conversation Club. [Consuming Louisville]

We love Maker’s Mark and think Maker’s 46 is maybe the best thing on earth – even better than watching Steve Beshear try to say “gay” – but we’re loosely shocked that the company would pay Doe Anderson tons of advertising dollars to do this. [Business First]

This finalist to be the next superintendent of Jefferson County Public Schools says there will be no change in direction on the student assignment plan. [WHAS11]

Wait – so KHS was awful if they were thought to be considering bidding, and now they’re they’re – what, cowards? – if they don’t? I remember all the hooha about the contract being “tailor-made for KHS,” and all part of KHS’s evil plan to take over LMAS. Do YOU remember that? And now that they’re not bidding, there’s still got to be trash-talking. Can’t you just admit you were wrong?

They’re not perfect, but they’re not terrible, either. In fact, they’re pretty damn good, so can’t you give it a rest? Like it or not, they did 6000+ adoptions last year, haven’t euthanised for overcrowding in over 2 years, now treat and place HW+ dogs, as well as cats that most other shelters consider unadoptable. Look at their adoptable pets right this minute…cage after cage of senior cats, black labs, hound mixes, senior beagles. And every one of them will be safe @KHS until they find a home.

KHS knows where they need to make improvements, and they’re working on it. Give them some credit, please!

Uh, who said the Kentucky Humane Society was a bunch of cowards? And who was wrong? Greg Fischer’s staff and KHS folks – including No Kill Louisville folks close to KHS – all told me they were essentially shown the door after the drama Miss Lori and others caused.

Do I need to rehash the numbers AGAIN? Maybe discuss AGAIN why KHS numbers are skewed? Maybe we could rehash the horse shit Lori spewed on this very website while attempting to anonymously attack folks like Jessica Reid? I’ll give people like that credit when they stop acting like human shitstains.

Pro-tip: Don’t like it? Don’t read it. I’m not holding a needle of blue juice to your neck forcing you to visit this site.

I love when folks concern troll – like they think that’s going to matter.

Actually, yes – please explain again how KHS’ numbers are skewed.

As far as KHS being shown the door, I’ll admit I don’t know anything about that, nor about whatever drama Lori supposedly caused. (Seriously – I’m not yanking your chain here – can you either re-tell the details or share a link that would explain what you’re talking about?)

One thing I am pretty sure about: that wasn’t Lori doing the anonymous posting.

One thing I’m pretty sure about: Lori was present when the commenting occurred. She’s one of the few people with the IP address I published.

Feel free to read the old posts.
