You’ve gotta see this anti-Doug Hawkins mail piece that’s causing quite a stir. Turns out it’s upsetting the Hawkins crew so badly that his opponent, David Yates, has received death threats. That’s according to Yates’ campaign manager.

To recap, since everything is backed up by reality: Doug “Protectin Our White Women’ Hawkins is a career politician from the East End, he’s unethical (we broke that story, I do believe, not A Kentucky Newspaper), wastes taxpayer money, is un-American, is an extremist, is ineffective and otherwise batshiz.
So this isn’t exactly too controversial. Only with those folks who buy the poo Hawkins is selling.

Though I’m no fan of Hawkins, that’s a terrible Photoshop job.

While I think that calling anyone “un-American” needs to have more to it than is claimed here, overall, the piece is rather effective, and I imagine that the Hawkins “entitlement crew” would understandably be upset that they have real competition and may well lose this race.

By the way, I’d be willing to bet that one of the individuals making the death threats is the same guy who has been trashing me in recent times in various online spots. In reality, there really aren’t too many people in this world who are crazy enough to act in this manner.
