    Regarding the “No tolls” stunt at the authority meeting, I think we should remember the bigger stunt: The authority disallowing public comment.

    Sometimes stunts by activists reveal truths. In this case, it is now very obvious that the authority is shutting out the public until they make their top-down decision to cram tolls down our throats. And then, the public gets to comment on a decided plan, kind of like how the public got to comment on a two-bridges project decision after it was made by an unelected power circle.

    “Stunt” isn’t a bad word.

    I was pointing out how silly the WAVE story was when compared to the WDRB story.

    I didn’t say you said ‘stunt’ is a bad word, but I think the word can carry a negative connotation with some readers. I just wanted to point out the “elephant in the living room” stunt by the authority that the “No Tolls” stunt brings to the fore.
