Louisville’s International Festival of Film is returning. Get all the details. [LEO Weekly]

Have you seen this bike counter in various locations around town this summer? [Broken Sidewalk]

I can’t say this often enough: Greg Fischer is a terrible candidate who just makes it all up as he goes along. But Hal Heiner is flipping ridiculous if he thinks his ignorance on the Fairness and discrimination front is going to fly with Democrats. [WFPL]

The Fayette County Board of Education knows it can’t raise property taxes this year. Unlike the school board in the state’s largest city. [H-L]

I realize many people are torn up over the dog tossed out of a car on 65 and are beside themselves that I’m not spending 24/7 talking about it. But come on. If you hate animal abuse, support your local no-kill animal shelters. [WHAS11]

Something about this case of missing Shepherdsville city attorney, Bill Wilson, doesn’t pass the smell test. How are the rest of you folks reacting to the story? [FOX 41]

Guess which local radio personality was close friends with this guy, who is apparently back to his old ways in South Florida. [Wonkette]
