  The Chevy Volt epitomizes the Obama Administration. The “green jobs” solution to unemployment energy independence is the biggest falsehood trying to be perpetuated on this country. The whole concept was manifested to provide mental comfort to those who inherently understand that policies like Cap and Trade will devastate their industries. After a huge capital investment, they produced a vehicle that nobody wants, that the government has to heavily subsidize to get people to purchase, utilizes a “new technology” battery supply that was actually made in S. Korea, not the US, and costs $8,000 more than a hybrid that gets the same net mileage. Any person who is counting on the “green job” revolution to save your job, should really open your eyes to reality if this is an example of how it’s going to be done.

  As far as the health care tax credits for small businesses, that is a joke as well. Attached is a link to a very informative webcast held by the US Chamber last Monday.

  In it they are talking about specifics in the regulations as they are just now coming out, and how these are going to impact employers. Dismiss it as partisan spin if you want, but they are dealing with specifics, where Obama is still talking about generalities like “tax credits for small businesses.” Please tell us Mr. President: What are those credits? Who qualifies? How much are they?

  Remember folks, the regulations are just now coming out in draft form. Over the next few months, businesses are going to be able to determine how the implementation of the thousands of pages of laws passed this year, are going to impact you for the better of worse. Except for the start and finish, which is fairly political, the remainder of this webcast is pretty much a reality check.
