Louisville Magazine Steps Up To The Bridges Plate

July 9th, 2010 by jake · 1 Comment

Louisville Magazine has joined the chorus of folks standing against the Ohio River Bridges project. Leaving A Kentucky Newspaper as the final apologist. [Jonathan Meador]

LMPD Chief Robert White didn’t get the Atlanta job. [Dozens of Emails]

You should probably go to this thing at the University of Louisville on Monday. [Click the Clicky]

A nasty banner at Greg Stumbo’s Stonecrest Golf Course trashing Ashley Judd is but the latest move from that group of folks to embarrass Eastern Kentucky. Apparently a couple mouthbreathers (Public Relations firm much?) feel it’s appropriate to trash those who disagree. If the Associated Press believes no one knows who created the banner, it’s crazier than we thought. [H-L]

Jack Conway connected better with the crowd and Rand Paul came off as aggressively crazy. [Ryan Alessi]

Like Louisville band The Pass? Check out the new music video for the album opener. [We All Want Someone]

When did Jack Conway say he’s ‘moderate’ at the KCJEA event? He’s clearly not. Some headline writers need to think twice about what they’re pushing as accurate. [WAVE3]

If you’re an artist, you should probably take part in the Belknap Art and Music Festival. Download the application. [Belknap Neighborhood Association]
