Greg Fischer says he stands for transparency and accountability in campaign ads and press releases.
But nearly one month ago, Fischer’s campaign filed his campaign finance report in a manner that prevents the public from gaining information about his expenditures.
This morning I sent Fischer’s campaign spokesperson, Rande Swann, the following email:
It’s been several weeks – still not releasing expenditures from the latest KREF reports?
Here’s how she replied:
We cpntinue to release our reports in compliance with KREF procedures.
To recap: Fischer says in campaign ads and press releases that he stands for transparency and accountability, but doesn’t release campaign expenditures. And then his campaign spokesperson sidesteps actually answering a question directly.

Help me out here Jake..what gain is there in not disclosing the expenditures? What could he be hiding that would cause him to do so? Or does he deem it some sort of political advantage in the race?

what? – My hiding expenditure data from the public, Fischer has everything to gain. We can’t easily discover who he is paid and how much he’s paid them, can’t determine refunds, can’t scrutinize his activity prior to election day.
Definitely gives him a political advantage.

I dislike (PC word) the snob noses, spoonfed candidate . He should be running for Mayor of Sellersburg where he spent all his time inventing myth. He will never have his nose far enough out of the Runyon’s ass to get anything proactive done in Louisville.
