Just when you thought Chris Thieneman couldn’t get any more off-the-wall?
Check this shiz:

It’s a mail piece the Thieneman Campaign sent out. He’s also featuring it on his attack site.
Isn’t that just cute? As if Thieneman’s tight-knit relationship with bigot Frank Simon weren’t enough. Now he’s shown what a racist homophobe he is. You’d have to be mentally retarded to allow a something like come out of a campaign you want to be taken seriously.
Interesting rumor: Guess which former “journalist” is allegedly working for/campaigning for Chris (a Courier-Journal reporter is keen on telling folks this)? Hint: they received a rent-free apartment from Thieneman and in return received tons of media coverage.

I think of Chris every time I visit my library. I think of him when I see the people who are waiting for computers to use there. I think of him when I think of the woman who came into the library the other day and asked about Sunday hours and was told that the funding had been cut for Sunday hours for all branches. And I think that I’ll vote “no” on Chris Thieneman whenever his name hits my ballot.

Who is the secret journalist? How did this person publish tons of media coverage when he/she is a “former” CJ employee?
Jake,
Please address the issue no one ever talks about: How can the average taxpayer not be outraged about all the pols running for their next government position while being paid by us to perform the job they are in now.
It’s as if you spent 6 months on the Ville payroll while openly trying to obtain a job at the New York Times.

It really shows the candidate’s true self when he/she stoops to gutter level in campaigning when they find themselves behind in the pols.

Never said they were a C-J employee. Said a C-J employee is spreading news of their involvement.

Crutnacker, I wouldn’t blame Thieneman for the library issues.
The reality is that the tax increase wasn’t really needed, even according to Abramson, as in the 2006 campaign, he declared that he was going to expand libraries without raising taxes.
On top of that, once the referendum was defeated soundly, and the GOP council members tried to put together a plan for improving library financing, Abramson the Petulant nipped it all in the bud.
