Jim King’s folks just released this statement:
“I am pleased the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance agreed to conciliate and close their review of this matter. Clearly, they believe I had no intention of violating any rules.
I have taken full responsibility for creating the appearance of impropriety. I agree with their findings that no knowing violations occurred.
I compliment the Registry for completing this matter in a professional and timely fashion. I now look forward to moving past this issue and focusing on the concerns facing Louisville working families. ”
