SurveyUSA Poll Released: The Numbers

March 14th, 2010 by jake · No Comments

UPDATE @ 9:00 A.M. Monday: Despite the redundant links to the SurveyUSA Crosstabs at both the beginning and end of this post, let me update to appease a WATB at WHAS11 complaining that I’m violating copyright (riiiight) – If it’s not clear/you’re 700-years-old and are incapable of clicking links – this poll was produced for the C-J & WHAS.

It should be stated that I’m only posting this update because the WATB mentioned above is someone I like who is just quite possibly a bit confused about these here internets tubes.

Original story below…

Told you on Friday about the coming mayoral poll.

Well, here are the final numbers that are apparently only available in the print edition (wtf kind of out-of-touch IS that?) of the Courier-Journal:

Fischer leads among white Democrats; Tandy leads among black Democrats. Tandy runs strong among those who attend church regularly; Fischer leads among those who almost never attend church. King and Tandy do well among pro-life Democrats; Fischer leads among pro-choice Democrats. Fischer’s supporters are more affluent, Tandy’s supporters less so.

Ouch!

Republicans

  • Heiner 30
  • Robertson 6
  • Thieneman 34
  • Undecided 30

Democrats

  • Allen 8
  • Farnsley 4
  • Fischer 20
  • King 12
  • Marshall 2
  • Moxley 3
  • Tandy 17
  • White 2
  • Undecided 32

And in the Congressional race:

  • For Yarmuth 27
  • Against Yarmuth 23
  • Depends on Ballott 48
  • Not Sure 1

The full cross-tabs are available here.

UPDATE: WFPL and LEO have updated stories on this, as well.
