We hear through the newsie vine that Ray D’Alessio is leaving WAVE3 Sunrise. It seems like he just got here a few minutes ago. I sent to a message to Ray but haven’t yet received a response.
Could this explain why Eric Flack (thanks to the dozen or so WAVE folks who sent this in) is allegedly coming back to the station after a stint in Cincinnati?

Word on the street is that he is, indeed, the new troubleshooter. (which is what I hinted at yesterday)
I’m just floating the morning show rumor with this post because I’ve heard it from several folks.

Ray seems like a nice enough guy but for some reason he just looks like a fast talking dressed up used car salesman. Not that theres anything wrong with that.

Eric Flack returning to this market is a godsend. Flack may be one of the most talented tv story tellers in Louisville in the last decade. Not sure I get the whole “troubleshooter” thing for him. However, I’m certain he will turn it into something amazing.

I tried to like Ray, I really did. But his constant complaining about the weather here irked me to no end.
