Local Political Rumor Round-Up Time

January 19th, 2010 by jake · 1 Comment

Okay, the three big political rumors floating around these days:

  • Andrew Horne could run for County Attorney
  • Circuit Judge Steve Ryan may challenge Dave Stengel for Commonwealth’s Attorney
  • Circuit Clerk David Nicholson is rumored to be hopping in the mayoral race. Sources close to Greg Fischer tell us they started leaning on Nicholson to run sometime last month when Greg Fischer didn’t gain the sort of traction for which they were hoping.

Stengel for another term? I think not. He shot himself in the foot with the Stinson debacle. I know Coach is anxious to see his next move so we can let the public know the real truth behind the man they elected because the liberal print media in Louisville will never do so. Stengel is incompetent, arrogant, and can’t even try a case when he is going through a divorce. How many people in Louisville continue to work when facing divorce? Stengel ran to get the spotlight with the Stinson case then back out like the coward and sissy he is. Dave Stengel will never hold another elected office because the people of Louisville will know what kind of person he is. Drinking and driving for the public is against the law but I guess it doesn’t count when you are the CA? If Dave does the right thing he would head to the farm in Shelbyville and never be heard from again unless he wants to apologize to Coach and the city of Louisville for wasting millions in taxpayer money without even doing the basic research to try a DUI case in the “biggest homicide investigation in Louisville.” Not bitter just tired of business as usual with the idiots that keep running a great city in the ground. Maybe Jerry and Dave can get together and see how much more $$$ they can waste at our expense.
