Here&#039;s what I think:  while Hart Megibben isn&#039;t the brightest bulb on the tree, after reading thru 800 pages of documents on the King of Kings election issue, even HE was smart enough to realize that was a political hot potato he didn&#039;t want to get stuck adding butter &amp; chives to.   

Just like the politically-correct move our own County Attorney&#039;s office made when they realized their investigation into the LMAS/AAA fraud situation was a set up for the old &#039;exploding cigar&#039; trick, they lobbed the problem onto the LMPD.

Politics 101: When you&#039;re not sure which was the future winds are going to blow, make damn sure you&#039;re safe behind the couch.</description>
