The Louisville Science Center is currently host of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition – one of the world’s most-visited exhibits. You’ve got until February 15th to get the passenger experience.

From the Center:
Upon entry, you’ll receive a replica boarding pass with information about one of the passengers aboard the Ship, and begin a chronological journey, where you’ll learn about the construction of Titanic and become swept into the experience of the grandest Ship to set sail at the time. View china and serving dishes and the menus served that evening, and then walk through a Third Class cabin re-creation. The mood then shifts upon entering the Iceberg Gallery, where you can touch the iceberg and experience how cold it was that fateful night of April 14, 1912.
The journey ends in the Memorial Gallery, where you’ll discover the fate of the passenger on your boarding pass. It is in this gallery where personal items connected to particular passengers are displayed, including a marriage certificate, a hairpin, and a pair of shoes.
See? The Science Center isn’t just for kids.
Since I’m on a mission to promote local tourism and the gems we’ve got right here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, it’s time for a contest.
Leave a comment on this post with a valid email address and you’ll be entered to win one of ten sets of (2) tickets – half courtesy the Louisville Science Center, half courtesy me.
We’ll hold a random drawing over the weekend.
Jump in! (no pun intended)

Haven’t been to the LSC since they were showing old Flash Gordon movies in the early 80s every sunday. Right next to the mercury seven capsule.
