I often wonder if people ever do something as simple as, you know, read before commenting. But “jamison” has made it clear that couldn’t be further from reality.

We published a link to his PROTECTED Facebook profile (meaning it’s not public – meaning the average Joe on the street can’t see a damn thing) and didn’t name any of his friends. Though, Rudy – one of the friends – wrote an interesting white wash of a letter to the Courier without mentioning once in the letter that he was a close friend of Meloche – which Facebook revealed.

Here’s a hint, people: read what’s written before you comment.

WLKY’s lead story last night was the MAS scandal and how the employees back in 2006 had sent many letters to Rudy seeking help for MAS and Rudy just whitewashed the whole thing.

Anybody who came after Eric Blow would be a “change agent” by default.

I think everyone can agree that Meloche’s job performance was sketchy. But I think posting his facebook friends is a little far and tacky.
It is one thing to discuss his job performance, but to go and discuss his friends on FB is totally out of line.

Honestly, it’s disgusting and borderline anti-Semitic to compare ANYONE to Adolf Hitler.

You kill your argument faster than a teabagger trying to pretend they’re registered to vote.

I realize your obsession with Meloche is legitimate. He’s done a terrible job and Jerry Abramson continues to serve as apologist and enabler. But the comparison to Hitler is despicable.

Did you know that in Nazi Germany, 32 ‘animal protection’ laws were passed, many aimed at preventing “certain segments of society” from owning pets? They also served the function of being able to legally enter the homes of ‘undesireables’ and do inspections and head-counts.

Remind you of anyone’s federal deposition claim that “poor people” shouldn’t be allowed to own pets?

Having lost an entire portion of my family in the camps, it makes me nervous anytime I see similarities. That said, I won’t compare him to the Fuhrer in the future.

Bells: RU Kid N Me? That’s like saying you feel sorry for Hilter after watching a documentary on WWII.

Besides, how pathetic is it that the guy only has 6 BFF’s in the entire world? Except that one is his kid, one is his former boss (Rudy Patootie) and one is his immigration lawyer makes it worse (or, should I say, “professional”?).

Wonder how fast Gary Allen is going to scuttle out of that list??

I am a some frequent visitor to this site and enjoy the content immensely. I think Gilles Meloche has been absolutely atrocious and deserves to be punished and has been rightfully villified. I also think our Mayor needs to take responsibility for this awful, awful hiring. However, at what point does it become piling on? All of this coverage of Meloche almost, and I stress almost, makes me feel a modicum of sympathy for someone who is otherwise the most dislikable character in recent memory.
