Any cop in basic training can tell you about the Fourth Amendment, but GM isn't even a U.S. citizen - he probably doesn't even know what it is. This story needs to be told and told again and the Meloche and the Mayor need to be accountable for this reign of terror - for the intentional mistreatment of the animals, for the warped philosophy that somehow success comes when overcrowded sick and suffering animal die and suffer rather than be humanely euthanized , for the deliberate stripping of citizens fourth, first, and fourteenth amendment rights and for the fear that has been levied for the past four years over this community. One can only hope that the next Director of Metro Animal Services has a proven track record of success in their community, is a uniter not a divider, and has a history of being supported, respected and loved by all they serve. We hope that it is someone that understands that only when the least among us is protected are we all safe. No more Directors with failed track records or ones with no experience at all.
