Thanks, Francene, for having us on the radio this A.M. to discuss Gilles Meloche and the corrupt Jerry Abramson – the man who has supported and promoted the sickening cloud hanging over Metro Animal Services.

We’re incensed over this Meloche mess. He owes an apology to us all. So does Jerry Abramson. These guys need to sack up and take responsibility for the messages for which they are responsible.

Thanks Jake for your awesome appearance on Francene! This story needs to be told and told again and the Meloche and the Mayor need to be accountable for this reign of terror – for the intentional mistreatment of the animals, for the warped philosophy that somehow success comes when overcrowded sick and suffering animal die and suffer rather than be humanely euthanized , for the deliberate stripping of citizens fourth, first, and fourteenth amendment rights and for the fear that has been levied for the past four years over this community. One can only hope that the next Director of Metro Animal Services has a proven track record of success in their community, is a uniter not a divider, and has a history of being supported, respected and loved by all they serve. We hope that it is someone that understands that only when the least among us is protected are we all safe. No more Directors with failed track records or ones with no experience at all. The days of the citizens and the pets of Louisville Metro being guinea pigs is OVER.

An’ dat ain’t all–whassup wid all dat missin’ money from dat audit? That’s taxpayer dollars and bein’ as I’s a taxpayer, I want to know where the dough went!

Animals missin? Heck, they chargin’ $200-$300 for some dog at dat Adoption place. I know cuz when I heard it was AAA, I axed ‘em to tow my ride one day by mistake. Thought it was take your dog t’ work or somethin’ goin’ on ther!

Where the hell IS all that money? Meloche has an MBA so there’s no excuse for the missing records, missing animals or the missing money!
Too bad the County Attorneys office is nothing more than a Jerry’s “bitch squad”. If any of them were worth their salt, they’d be filing lawsuits left & right!

The problem is MAS is a law enforcement agency, and they have a bunch of people that don’t have a clue about law enforcement. Any cop in basic training can tell you about the Fourth Amendment, but GM isn’t even a U.S. citizen – he probably doesn’t even know what it is. (And I’ll note, it’s exactly the same problem we had with Holmes ….)

You can bet your Butt the money will never be found!……Just another case of Jerry’s special rules for the priviledged. No doubt there’s a lot more then 20k missing!…..wait till the Sex harrassment suits hit !….The Mayor allowed all this to fester on his watch!….he needs to be held accountable….but who can nail him down to get a real answer on this ?….he’s a slippery little man!
