		<description>The appointment of Jim Ward, Letcher County Judge Executive by Gov. Beshear is very disappointing. His campaign was involved in the Mountain Eagle newspaper, in Whitesburg, being taken from most all stores in Letcher County the day of the election. Appalshop is doing a documentary on that shady election, where the Democrat defeated a very good longtime progressive Republican.
 Sad to see him rewarded instead of embarrassed.</description>
