September 28th, 2009 by jake · 3 Comments

Kaven Rumpel, as we have reported in the past, plans to run for Hal Heiner’s Metro Council seat. Here’s the notice sent out by Ed Springston:

Kaven Rumpel will be formally announcing his candidacy for Louisville Metro Council District 19 that is being vacated because of Hal Heiner’s run for Louisville Metro Mayor. Please join labor, business leaders, elected officials, civic leaders and neighbors as they support this retired LMPD detective, and small business owner, as he makes his bid to represent all in bettering the 19th District.

Kaven is a straight shooter !….he’ll make a great Councilman and can be trusted to do the job as expected , with “Integrity”, and make his OWN decisions.

Jason, We need someone like Kaven that has given more to this community than taken. He has given so much of his life 1st as a police officer and than his work with Down Syndrom Children and Kosair Charities. Words are not as loud as his actions. He is a good man.
