Because We Can: So your Bullitt County assistant is calling about being late, again, and blames it on the back-ups on I-65. Now you can check to see how bad it really is out there, in real time. LIVE. But we really hope you have something better to do than watch trucks go by. [Fox41]
Hard to Cover: Nobody in the media seems to know what to report about the Anthem-Norton dispute, except that they’re spending a lot of time in meetings. And we can all agree that the Norton spokesman is kind of creepy. [Joe Arnold, Fox41, WLKY]
Back To School: If you’re taking Web Design at PRP High School, it’s likely your teacher this morning is ex-football coach Jason Stinson, who spent the last two days on a media tour saying he wasn’t responsible for Max Gilpin’s death and that he wants to coach there again. You can bet he’ll be on the sidelines before the end of the season. [WLKY]

Hey, leave Beechmont alone, the last firehouse was built in 1925 and this one will probably have to last at least as long as that one. It has a lot of specialized equipment, not to mention being “home” to a bunch of guys. I’m just glad they didn’t go through with the original plan to close it annd move it.

I don’t see where anything bad was said about one of Louisville’s bestest-best-best-best neighborhoods, Beechmont. :)

Maybe because the stench from that area keeps it from being one of the best neighborhoods. I used to work in that area a year or so ago and it wasn’t all that great. Let’s see, the ghetto is moving into that area and its becoming overran by Third world denizens. Other than Southern Parkway, we’ll see how long it will be before its another West Side story
