Tune in this morning at 8:45 a.m. to the Fox41 Morning Show. We’ll be talking about the Mayor’s Race and all the political maneuverings involving Greg Fischer, Jim King, David Tandy, Tyler Allen, Steve Pence and maybe a player or two  to be named later.

If that weren’t enough, it’s a big day for news. The Louisville Arena Authority has its monthly meeting, so we may get an update on the construction incident, find out who the big conventions are that will be coming to town, or get an update on the arena’s progress for naming rights sales.

There’s also a big meeting today of the Greater Louisville Sports Commission, the first since executive director Diane McGraw’s outburst was made public on this site — in which she revealed details of an uncomfortable working relationship with the Convention and Visitors Bureau. She also let it slip in an e-mail that the PGA was planning an announcement that its 2014 PGA Championship is coming to Valhalla. We’re predicting Ms. McGraw may resign.

The zoning board is meeting this morning as well, discussing homeless shelter zoning.

And in case you forgot, Jerry Abramson and Steve Beshear launch their 2011 campaign officially with a ceremony in Frankfort at 9. They’ll be at the Kentucky Center for the Arts at 2 today.
