University of Louisville professor Ede Warner, who was arrested on charges of arson, wanton endangerment and assault related to an incident at his home, has voluntarily given up his teaching duties for the summer pending the outcome of his case.
The university is finding a replacement to take over the two classes he was scheduled to teach this summer.
Warner is a tenured faculty member.

I commend professor Warner for his recent actions this afternoon. Take care of business at home and once that is sorted out return to the classroom.
