The Board of Zoning Adjustment this morning postponed any action on the Swift/JBS case that we’ve been following.
After an hour of discussion, and with several media present, the Board voted to postpone until Aug. 31 any action on the case. On that date, the case will be the only item on the docket.
Both sides — Swift and the Butchertown Neighborhood Association — were prepared to make lengthy presentations, and board members wanted to read pre-hearing motions before considering the case.
So we’ll all try again in August.
