The Sullivan University System had a big shindig this morning at the site of a new 12,000-square foot building that will house a new school to teach students the ins and outs of Heating and Air Conditioning. And it announced that its Louisville Technical Institute will now be known as Sullivan College of Technology and Design.
The new building, according to president Glenn Sullivan, will be LEED-certified and conform to “green” building standards. He said the school hopes to move in six months from now. He wasn’t sure exactly how much it will cost, except to say it would be at least several million dollars.

Several dozen students, alumni, faculty and every TV news station in town were there.
There are long range plans for another building on the Sullivan site, which is right off the Newburg Road exit from the Watterson.
