The new owners of WBKI, the CW affiliate in Louisville, have completed an agreement to move to Kaden Towers, the 16-story landmark building in the Dupont area.
Construction on the 7th Floor space will begin soon and the station expects to move by September.
The new space will include a studio and a kitchen, both equipped for broadcast of locally-produced shows. That will include the CW Louisville Live morning show. The kitchen will have the capability to be used for cooking shows.
The property that company has occupied in the Bluegrass Industrial Park has already been sold to a new buyer.

Oh, and I hope they have checked for a microwave path to Raywick. WMJM, Magic 101 has problems covering the city because of how low that building sits.

From the useless trivia department – I was once told by my architecture teacher that the Kaden Tower building was originally designed to be built in Arizona. If you look at the pink tile, the heavy shading of the windows, it makes sense for a desert location.
