The excuse put forward by the arena construction company for that concrete collapse at the site April 27 is “human error.” Three workers were hurt, two of whom are back on the job.
Fingers were pointed at the concrete contractor, FA Wilhelm Construction Co., based in Indianapolis. The arena authority had its monthly meeting today.
Wilhlem, as WHAS-TV’s Joe Arnold reported, laid off several workers recently, including a guy named Charlie Molen, who expressed his concerns about safety on the construction site in a televised interview with Arnold.
