WLKY-TV has added a couple of new personalities to its on-air talent crew. Yes, they’re both blonde. Here’s the scoop.
Susanne Horgan is the new full-time meteorologist and will be working primarily on weekends, though you’ll see her plenty this week as both Jay Cardosi and Matt Milosevich are taking time off. She replaces Kim Stevens, who was, well, also blonde.Horgan has experience in larger markets — she did morning weather up until December at the WEWS, the ABC affiliate in Cleveland, but her contract was not renewed there. Prior to her three years there, she did another three years at Cincinnati’s WLWT-TV, also a Hearst station.
She’s an Indiana University graduate and an Indianapolis native. Her 2006 wedding, to news producer Patrick Mathews, was the subject of some press coverage in Cleveland.
Jenny Goodman is the new traffic reporter on the WLKY morning show, replacing Alexandra Koetter. According to GM Glenn Haygood, Koetter has a full-time job and decided she couldn’t do the part-time work at the station in addition to her full-time marketing work.
Goodman has done radio work with Main Line Broadcasting’s 102.3 The Max. She attended Michigan State and Indiana University Southeast, and has coached field hockey at Ballard High School, her alma mater. She’s a part-time employee, but will work with the WLKY morning team Monday through Friday.

The news is crap nowadays…if I can at least get a weather report from an attractive woman I’d be more inclined to watch…for a while…I’m not shallow am I?
