No Topping This: I wanted to tell you something interesting about John Ziegler coming to town at the invitation of the local Republican Party, but just couldn’t out-clever Jake’s take at Page One:

Much to the chagrin of of known self-important individual Anne Northup, the Louisville GOP is bringing crazed moonbat John Ziegler (Darcy Davita’s you-know-what!) back to town for a screening of his film Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin was Targeted. Thursday, April 16th, Grand Convention Center in New Albany, Indiana (because no Kentuckian worth their weight would show that mess), 138 E. Market in Nawbny. 7:00 P.M. After the event ($20 advance, $25 at the door), Ziegler will be present for a wingnut reception. Get tickets by calling 502.584.7111 or emailing Wade Hurt at wade@louisvillegop.com or DeAnna Brangers at d4gop@aol.com. Thanks to Brad Cummings, a known terrorist and America-hater, for bringing Johnboy back to town. [Press Release]

So He Juggles Too: Check out the ILIL profile of Matt Winn of Chrysalis Ventures. [ILIL]

Submitted to News of the Weird: We’re glad the police officer involved in the Okolona shooting this morning is recovering. Now we can chuckle at the story just ‘cuz it involves the word “naked.” Here’s a phrase we never thought we’d see in the newspaper: a naked man began to approach her in a confrontational manner. [Courier]

Put One Cat In, Take Another Cat Out: The new coach at UK is making plenty of roster changes, whether you believe he’s pulling the strings or not. Michael Porter’s departure, to focus on fathering and academics, has brought out all kinds of kooky comments in both Louisville and Lexington. [Courier, Herald-Leader]

Here’s Your Bonus: WKU president Gary Ransdell is giving university employees bonuses now, saying there won’t be money in the budget for raises next year. [Herald-Leader]

Journalists React to Hebert news:  “An unbelievably sad day for journalism” is how the C-J’s Stephenie Steitzer put it. In Lexington, Ryan Alessi calls Hebert a “hard-hitting, thorough investigative reporter” and recalls the 2002 career-making report about an affair involving Gov. Paul Patton.  Yet still, some C-J readers reacted by chastising Hebert for the Billy Gillispie chase.

“because no Kentuckian worth their weight would show that mess”

In the spirit of friendly rivalry, I’d kindly point out that a Louisville institution paid that crazed moonbat a salary for years to be one. New Albany, on the other hand, is charging a whole group of moonbats for a single appearance.

How dare you! If we sheep don’t speak glowingly about our messhia, we get marginalized! We must support this man no matter what, we cannot have our own opinion about HIM! If we go against the groupthink, we are the enemy!

For eight years we were told of the Evil of Bush. You commie traitors took it too far. And now that your god is in charge, you take it too far again. Destroy anyone who doesn’t worship HIM! Well, you’re going to have to destory me too! I hate Obama and I hope that in four years we get to ride him out on a rail, out of the white house and back into the cesspool of Chicago politics.

John Ziegler is a patriot! And didn’t you libs once say discent is patriotic? Guess that only counts when it’s a conservative that’s being fought against!

I remember we used to put traitors like you in jail!

That rant has to be a fake, because it almost seems like parody.

See what I mean. I don’t accept Obama as saviour, therefore I am the enemy. I’m insulted, I’m marginalized. But I’m also right. Look around you. Look outside your little world of the Highlands and Cresent Hill!

I bet you guys will still blame republicans in 2010 even though they aren’t in power anymore. You got the White House and congress, and things are still going south. When does your side take responsiblity?

syvyn11 : “See what I mean. I don’t accept Obama as saviour, therefore I am the enemy”. etc.

…And because you still don’t get it, I’m making a field promotion. You are now Chief CrazyArse!

Well these liberals always show their true selves. It explains a lot of why Louisville is becoming a cesspool. The economy here is shot, the job market is crap, the pay is low in most cases, the schools are decrepit, the city fire houses are a disaster, the roads are falling apart, etc. All with a liberal Democrat Mayor. And you guys wonder why we dont think Obama will be any better.
