On Tuesday, January 20th, Louisvillians will gather for a non-partisan celebration of the inauguration of Barack Obama. The event, sponsored by Sustain (and other local businesses) and put on by Kenn Parks of Our 1 Planet, will include a luncheon and live oath of office viewing along with a happy hour celebration in the early evening.

You’ll have the opportunity to actively take part by making a personal pledge for change. Your pledge is a record of one thing you will personally do in 2009 to make the world a better place. You’ll also have the opportunity to provide 30-second video messages about what this historical election means to you and how you feel it will help America and the world.
