Oh, to have that Makers Mark account.
That must be the collective thinking of the Louisville advertising community, because Doe-Anderson collected plenty of hardware at last night’s Louie Awards, recognizing the best the local ad community has to offer, from its clever campaign for the bourbon.
For example, this vending machine concept won a Judges Award for “Best Non-Traditional Advertising” and Doe won Best of Show for its work with Makers Mark.
In all, Doe took home 24 Gold Awards, the same number as Red7e, though Red7e had the most total awards with 71. Which proves the company is not only good at advertising, but also at getting award entries together.
Doe captured one of two Golds in the Interactive category (which we’re most interested in) for its work with Beam Spirits, yet another cool liquor client. The other Gold for interactive work went to Leapfrog, for its Vanity Fair “Find Your Sexy Style” work.

It’s cool that these agencies do this for their employees. That’s a lot of non-billable time to invest…

Very cool! Someone gave me one of those Absolut books and I honestly think most of the Maker’s ads blow them away.
